These houses are repossessed houses and although these houses belong to UDUMO, there may be ILLEGAL occupants in these houses. We at UDUMO will follow the legal steps to remove them from the house once the new investor has been granted a bond.

Important Information

  • UDUMO will attempt to negotiate with the current ILLEGAL occupant by offering them relocation assistance. If negotiations fail, we will automatically proceed with the eviction.\
  • UDUMO will instruct an attorney of the Investors choice or refer you to a specialist Attorney on your behalf to institute legal proceedings against the ILLEGAL occupant. The new investor will however have to sign all the necessary documentation required by his/her attorney, to ensure that the legal procedure is completed as expeditiously as possible.
  • Once the Eviction order is granted by the Supreme Court, UDUMO will instruct the relevant sheriff to carry out an eviction on the investors behalf.

ALL FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS RELATING TO THE ABOVE LEGAL PROCEDURE UP TO THE INSTRUCTION OF THE SHERIFF WITH AN EVICTION ORDER WILL BE PAID BY UDUMO.
